The reports have come in that Huawei Watch 2 is going to be unveiled during the upcoming MWC which will kick off at Barcelona in Spain on February 27.
The fans of the electronic gadgets from the house of Huawei have been waiting for quite some time now regarding an official announcement. And the popular leakster Evan Blass has been found to have published a tweet stating that Huawei Watch 2 is going to be released alongside the smartphones from Huawei. Huawei will unveil the smartwatch on February 26 alongside the Huawei P10 which is the upcoming highly rated smartphone.
The image of Huawei Watch 2 that has been posted by Evan Blass reveals the fact that the smartwatch is going to be available in three colours – black, orange and speckled grey. The smartwatch will run on the new Android Wear 2.0 and have a 1.4-inch display screen. The first edition of the smartwatch from Huawei popularly known as the Huawei Watch featured an AMOLED display with a support for the 400 x 400-pixel resolution in 86 ppi. And this is something that is expected to be retained by the developers in the Huawei Watch 2 as well. Also, the smartwatch will have a slot dedicated for a nanoSIM.
There are also a number of other speculations making rounds regarding the features of the Huawei Watch 2. Those speculations state that the upcoming smartwatch from Huawei could launch with leather or stainless steel straps. So it remains to be seen what the actual features of the smartwatch turns out to be when it gets unveiled on February 26 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC).
