November 26, 2017. One can mark the day, for, Gionee is all set to launch eight bezel-less smartphones on this particular date. Dubbed the Gionee S11, the smartphone has appeared on a leak which indicates familiar design philosophy as that of its predecessor. Earlier the smartphone appeared on the Chinese certification site, TENAA, a few days back.
The leak has surfaced online in the form of render showing off the design language of the device. As per possibilities, the upcoming Gionee S11 will be available in three color variants- Gold, Pink, and Blue. The smartphone is anticipated to have an elongated display along with a bezel-less design with absolutely no bezels on the sides. However, the lower bezel doesn’t sport a capacitive button. On this front, the device holds the dual selfie shooters alongside the earpiece. On the rear panel, the device comes with a dual rear camera with the sensors positioned horizontally. In the design philosophy, the smartphone sports a similar design alike to the newly launched OPPO R11S and Apple’s iPhone 7.
Being one of focussed smartphone manufacturers, Gionee has always concentrated on its offline presence rather than the retail in India. Not only did it offer products aiming at the youth of the nation, but it has also been tapping selfie-obsessed users across several price segments. The selfie-obsessed manufacturer has had its own share of news concerning the devices that we recently reported on. We have seen how Gionee M7 Plus got leaked via hands-on images ahead of its launch.
While Gionee S11 is the subject of our new right now, the tech world will not fail to remember Gionee M7 Power‘s news, which indicated the smartphone to imminent launch in India.
