While the Gionee M7 Power was expected to debut in India, the new leak comes up with hands-on images of a brand-new smartphone, dubbed the Gionee M7 Plus. From the Chinese microblogging website, Weibo, we have got hands on the images that have surfaced recently. Earlier when the famous leakster Evan Blass leaked the same smartphone, several tech sites took a stab for the M7 Plus device to be the next flagship phone from the company. Not just that, two images were also revealed indicating an imminent launch of the device.
Now, with the most recent images, it seems Blass’s prediction on the display of 6.43-inches will come true. The device houses a horizontally placed dual camera module. What is more surprising is the rear side of the device which features a leather panel along with a fingerprint scanner embedded right below the camera setup. Blass, with his leak, had earlier claimed that M7 Plus will be made of stainless-steel. While the wireless charging technology was earlier predicted by the tipster, leak from the internet shows Gionee M7 Plus placed on a wireless charging pad.
According to the leak, the M7 Plus shows up to 16W (9V/1.78A) that nearly reaches the capacity of what one may get with an 18W wired fast charger. Furthermore, it is believed that the smartphone will also have the support for the version 1.2 of the Qi Wireless Charging standard. Earlier, we have seen more Gionee smartphones surfacing on the internet. By that, we have got hands-on Gionee M7 and we also covered a news which suggested the phone to house the fingerprint reader on the rear panel. As of now, more news on Gionee M7 Plus will come up anytime soon. One may keep an eye on the news for further updates.
