TCL-owned company BlackBerry, at the CES 2018 has finally launched a new edition of its latest BlackBerry KEYone. This addition is touted as the BlackBerry KEYone Bronze Edition. As the name suggests, the new BlackBerry Keyone device is distinguishable from the original base model. As a matter of fact, the most prominent difference is one for the bronze color as seen on its frame and part of the rear cover.
The company furthermore has apparently confirmed that TCL is set to launch two more BlackBerry phones in the coming days. Due to the satisfaction earned from the partnership with the Canadian company, fans will get hands on the two BB phones which the company is set to roll out in 2018.
BlackBerry KEYone Bronze Edition Key Specs and Features
Coming to its specifications, the BlackBerry KEYone Bronze Edition has a 4.5-inch display with an FHD screen resolution of 1060 x 1620 pixels. The device also sports an embedded physical QWERTY keypad. Underneath, there’s an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC which is paired with 3 or 4 GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of internal storage respective to the model chosen.
In the camera department, the BlackBerry Keyone Bronze Edition comes with a primary camera of 12 MP and a secondary camera of 8 MP. Powering the device, there’s a 3505mAh battery. The BlackBerry KEYone Bronze Edition runs the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system, out of the box. Now that the device is official and will be launched starting from Q1 2018, we expect the company to plan increasing its availability in markets worldwide.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C port, and a dedicated 3.5mm audio jack. Officially, the base model had been made available with a price tag of Rs 39,990 in the Indian markets.
