The LG G7 ThinQ is all set to make its debut on May 2 this year. LG has scheduled a launch event on that day at New York to unveil the upcoming device. It will be followed by another launch event at Seoul, South Korea the next day. Now, over the past few weeks, a number of leaked renders of the LG G7 ThinQ has appeared online to reveal all the specifications of the handset. As per earlier reports, the LG G7 is expected to embrace the notch feature that was first introduced by Apple in the iPhone X last year. Apart from that, the handset will also come with the 3.5-mm audio connector to attach headphones.
Now some new renders of the alleged LG G7 ThinQ have appeared again. Some images of the upcoming smartphone from LG has been leaked by reputed leakster Evan Blass on Twitter. A gray color variant of the device can be seen clearly on the images with some more specifications. As per the renders, the smartphone is expected to come with an edge-to-edge display with an iPhone X-like notch. Apart from that bottom bezel of the front panel seem to have been substantially reduced when compared to its predecessor. The rear panel of the smartphone features a dual rear camera module in a vertical configuration with an LED flash. The device also sports a fingerprint scanner with the LG G7 ThinQ branding on the rear panel.
The power key has been placed on the right edge of the smartphone, while the volume rocker key has been placed on the left edge along with another button that may be used to launch a Virtual Assistant, (Google Assistant or the company’s own AI-powered Assistant). The 3.5mmm audio jack has been placed on the bottom edge of the phone along with a USB Type-C port for charging, a speaker grill and antenna bands.
Meanwhile, two new smartphones carrying model numbers LM-G710V and LM-G710N, which is supposed of the LG G7 ThinQ has been spotted on National Radio Research Agency’s certification website in South Korea. As per a Dutch website LetsGoDigital, the model carrying model number LM-G710N may be an exclusive for the South Korean markets while the LM-G710V variant may be launched globally.
