Realme, the sub-brand of Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo has announced a Moonlight Silver variant of the Realme 1 smartphone in India. The new color variant will be available in the country from June 18, the company has confirmed. The brand had launched the Diamond Black and Solar Red color variants of the smartphone last month and had promised a Moonlight Silver variant of the device.
The handset will be available only in one variant and will go on sale for the first time on June 18. While the Realme 1 was launched in three variants of 3GB RAM/32GB storage, 4GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage, the Moonlight Silver limited edition variant of the device will be available only in one variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage space.
It will come with a price tag of Rs 10,990 which is the same as the other color variants with the same specifications. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon India as Oppo has forged a strategic partnership with the e-commerce giant earlier to launch its devices in the country.
Coming to the specifications, the Realme 1 features a 6-inch full HD+ display with an 84.7% screen to body ratio. It is a dual-SIM device that runs on Android Oreo 8.1 with ColorOS 5 on top. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC clocked at 2GHz and a dual-core AI specific chipset.
Talking about the optical aspect of the device, the smartphones features a 13-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies and video calling. The front camera also boasts Oppo’s AI Beauty 2.0 feature along with a 296 point facial recognition. It also comes with a face unlock feature but does not have a fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options on the smartphone include dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and USB Type-C port. It is fueled by a 3410mAh battery and the internal storage of the phone can also be upgraded with the help of a micro-SD card.
