Nokia 7.1 Plus has been in the news since the last couple of weeks courtesy of leaked renders and reports from various sources. In the last few days, we have seen several renders of the upcoming device as leaked by renowned tipsters and some unofficial sources. Now, a new render has appeared online which could probably be the first live images of the Nokia 7.1 Plus. The live images show the handset in two color options; silver and a new brownish shade.
The live images have been shared by a Baidu user and were first spotted by the folks at NokiaPowerUser. As per the images, the back panel can be seen to feature a similar design to the recently launched Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus. It features a dual camera module on the rear panel and the cameras have been arranged vertically. The rear panel also houses a fingerprint sensor alongside the Nokia branding. Since the images come from an unofficial source and there has been no confirmation from HMD Global about these features as of now, it should be taken with a pinch of salt.
The report further suggests that the Nokia 7.1 Plus has been codenamed Phoenix internally by HMD Global. It is likely to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 710SoC. The device is also rumored to arrive with a large 19:9 aspect ratio display and support resolution of 1080 X 2280 pixels. It will also feature a display notch that was first introduced by Apple last year on the iPhone X. HMD Global has scheduled a launch event on October 4 in London and the Nokia 7.1 Plus is expected to see the light of the day at the event. Alongside the Nokia 7.1 Plus, the company may also take the covers off the Nokia 9 that is long rumored to get unveiled this year.
