Home grown company Lava has recently launched two smartphones – Lava Pixel V2 and V2s as successor to Lava Pixel V1 that came out last year. The Lava Pixel V2 is priced at Rs 8,750 and it’s available in ice white and royal black colour respectively while Pixel V2s is priced at Rs 10,750 and available in the colours champagne gold, royal black and ice white. The V2 is available for purchase but the V2s will be up for sale in the coming weeks.
Lava Pixel V2 Features
The device feature a 5-inch HD IPS display with 1280 by 720 pixels coupled 294 ppi pixels density. The screen is protected by Asahi Dragontrail Glass which is extremely durable and provides excellent protection. The smartphone runs on a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor which is clocked at 1.3GHz and comes with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB via external microSD card. On the front of camera, the Lava V2 is equipped with 13PM rear camera and 8MP selfie camera. The device runs on Android Marshmallow operating system and is supported by a 2,500mAh battery. As for connectivity, Lava V2 supports FM Radio, 4G LTE with VoLTE (upgradable), Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS and 3.5 mm audio jack. The device measures 7.6 mm in thickness and weighs 128 g.

Lava Pixel V2s Features
This budget smartphone sports a 5-inch HD IPS FL display with 1,280 by 720 pixels that comes coupled with 294 ppi pixel density. The screen is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and runs on a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor which is clocked at 1.3 GHz. The device runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop which can be upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It comes with 2GB RAM and 8GB internal memory space which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. As far as the camera is concerned V2s has got 13MP primary camera and 8MP front-snapper. The smartphone supports 2,500 mAh battery, and connectivity options like 4G LTE/ 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, WiFi 802. 11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS. Lava V2s measures 142x71x8 mm in dimension and weighs 129 g.
