Reliance Retail’s LYF brand has now launched two new smartphones called LYF Flame 7 and Wind 7. Both smartphones are presently listed on the company’s site with all details and price. The Lyf Flame 7 is priced at Rs. 3,499 while the Lyf Wind 7 costs Rs. 6,999. The handset will be available offline too in stores like Reliance Digital and Digital Xpress.
Just like other Lyf-series handsets, both Flame 7 and Wind 7 support 4G LTE bands in India – FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz). The devices also support HD voice call and VoLTE (voice over LTE).
LYF Flame 7
The LYF Flame 7 is a dual-SIM (regular SIM + Micro-SIM) handset that features a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) IPS LCD display along with Asahi Dragontrail Glass and 218ppi pixel density. It supports 4G on one SIM at a time and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC9830A processor and comes coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSd card. Speaking of the camera, the handset sports a sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front snapper. The handset measures 126x64x10.8mm, weighs 113 grams and comes with connectivity options like GPRS/ EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, and Micro-USB apart from 4G (LTE Cat 4 support). A 1750mAh battery completes the package and delivers up to 4.5 hours of talk time with up to 175 hours of standby time.

The LYF Wind 7 is a dual-SIM (regular SIM + Micro-SIM) handset that features aa 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 294ppi. It supports 4G on both SIM and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor and comes coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSd card. Speaking of the camera, the handset sports a sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front snapper. The handset measures 143.5x72x8.7mm and weighs 156 grams and comes with connectivity options like GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB, apart from 4G (LTE Cat. 4).
