Lenovo has launched an affordable and pocket friendly laptop, dubbed as Ideapad 100s, running on Windows 10 OS, in India, with a price tag of only Rs. 14,990. The newly released Ideapad 100s was initially unveiled at the IFA last year and the laptop will be exclusively available via the Indian e-commerce giant Snapdeal at a slightly lower price of Rs 14,499.

If we talk about the specifications of the brand new Lenovo Ideapad 100S, the Indian variant of the laptop slightly differs with the one released at the IFA last year. The Indian model of the Lenovo Ideapad 100S comes with 11.6-inch display with 1366 x768 pixels of resolution and offers great image quality with wide viewing angles. Under the hood, the laptop houses a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor clocked at 1.83GHz and coupled with 2GB of 1600MHz DDR3L RAM.

The laptop only measures 292 x 202 x 17,5mm and weighs mere 1kg. Apart from these, Ideapad 100S sports a 0.3MP webcam along with a standard keyboard. The laptop features all the modern day connectivity options including USB 2.0, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, HDMI, head phone jack and microphone jack. Not only that, the Ideapad 100S also flaunts a 32GB onboard storage which can be further expandble via microSD card slot. The device is powered by a 2-cell 39Whr battery which promises up to 8 hours of use without plugging in, so that the users can work, browse online, and watch videos with minimal interruption.
