Gionee on yesterday launched its new selfie-centric smartphone Gionee S6s.Equipped with a 13-mega pixel front camera, the handset is like a paradise for the selfie lovers. Priced at Rs 17,999, the Gionee S6s is available on Amazon India and multiple offline stores.
On the other hand, Oppo launched the same sort of, the selfie-focused smartphone a few months back. Termed as Oppo F1s, this handset also features 13-mega pixel front camera and priced at Rs 17,990. The Oppo F1s is also available on Amazon India and other retail stores.
So now if you are thinking to buy a selfie-centric smartphone under Rs. 18,000, which one should you go for? Should you buy the newly launched Gionee S6s or should you trust the Oppo F1s? The Oppo F1s is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor consisting of four Cortex-A53 cores with a clock rate of 1.5GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores with a clock rate of 1.0GHz. On the other hand, the Gionee S6s comes housed with a 64-bit 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek processor. Both the handsets include 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

Like most of the features, the batteries of both these handsets are almost similar too. The Gionee S6s includes a slightly larger 3105mAh unit battery while the Oppo F1s is powered by a 3075mAh battery. The fast charging feature is not available in either of the handsets.
