Huawei Mate 9 to feature Next-Gen Kirin Octa-Core Processor and 4 GB RAM

While multiple rumors are blowing in the air regarding the upcoming Huawei Mate 9 release date, the specs of the smartphone have been leaked in between and was spotted on the GFXBench website. Many experts believe the Huawei Mate 9 will be unveiled in the second half of 2016, during the IFA 2016 event, many have opposed the theory too. But on the specification aspect, there is no doubt that Huawei Mate 9 is going to be a breathtaking device made with the cutting-edge technology.

If we talk about the specification of the Huawei Mate 9, the handset is going to flaunt a 5.9-inch FHD display for better VR experience. Moreover, the device is going to be powered by the latest Kirin 960 octa-core processor clocked at 2.6 GHz HiSilicon and coupled with the Hi3660 chipset and Mali-T880 GPU. The Kirin 960 processor is the most updated and the next-gen processor from the house of Huawei after the Kirin 955 which is clocked at 2.5 GHZ and is likely to compete with Snapdragon 820 & Exynos 8890 chipsets.

On the camera aspect, Huawei Mate 9 will feature a 12MP rear camera with 4K high definition video recording capability, autofocus, LED flash, face detection,and touch focus technology. On the front side, a 7MP shooter is placed for taking better selfies. Previously it was rumored that the phone would come with a 20MP rear camera, which is not going to happen originally. The phone will reportedly run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

Huawei Mate 9 device will come with 4GB of RAM and pack 64GB of internal storage out of the box. The handset will include almost all the modern day sensors such as WIFi, accelerometer, Bluetooth, compass, GPS, gyroscope, light sensor, pedometer, NFC, and proximity sensor.
