Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime and Redmi 3S will go on sale today. The budget smartphones will be available on Flipkart and Mi.com starting 12 pm today. This is an open sale as users do not need to register to buy the devices. Xiaomi conducted the first sale for Redmi 3S Prime on August 9, where it sold over 90,000 units of the device in just eight minutes. The USP of both the smartphones is their big battery size, which easily lasts for up to 2 days. Xiaomi is trying to tap in the budget smartphone segment in India by launching a slew of devices in the category.
“We did a launch sale without registration for the first time ever, as we were confident that we had a significant volume with more than 90,000 units,”
Manu Kumar Jain ( India Head, Xiaomi )
