Reliance Digital Releases the Brand New Smartphone LYF Wind 2 with VoLTE

Indian telecom giant Reliance Digital is gradually holding their grip on the smartphone market with their LYF branded smartphones, and the company has recently unveiled another brand new smartphone under their mid-range Wind series. Named as Wind 2, this latest handset is available in Gold color and priced at Rs 8,299. The Wind 2 device comes under the Wind series of the of the brand LYF, along with the other devices in the same line such as LYF Wind 1, LYF Wind 4, LYF Wind 5, and the LYF Wind 6.

LYF Wind 2 is the first smartphone of this series to flaunt a 6-inch HD IPS display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. Apart from that, this device offers the customers the 4G VoLTE connectivity features, which is another USP of this smartphone. LYF Wind 2 comes with a metallic frame as well as a curved glass finish and is packed with BesLoudness technology to enhance the audio performance of the handset.

If we talk about the Wind 2 specifications, it is powered by a 1GHz MediaTek 6735M quad-core SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM. Not only that, but the handset also includes 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB through microSD card.

On the camera aspect, the LYF Wind 2 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 1080p video recording capabilities. A 2-megapixel front camera is placed on the front side of the device with the face detection technology and beauty mode to take better selfies. Also, the camera offers the users ‘continuous shot’ feature, by which they can take 99 photos at a time. Apart from these modes, the Wind 2 smartphone also offers the users some unique camera modes too, such as time lapse video mode, image enhancer mode, and multi-angle viewing mode. So in short, LYF Wind 2 is a great device for the shutterbugs.

Connectivity wise, the LYF Wind 2 features 4G LTE with VoLTE and VoWiFi as we have mentioned above. Moreover, the other modern day connectivity options such as OTG support, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and a microUSB 2.0 port is also included in the handset. The Dual-SIM (4G + 2G) supported Wind 2 smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by a 2,850mAh battery.
