LeEco Le Pro 3: LeEco, the Chinese smartphone manufacturers launched their flagship device Le Pro 2 back in April. Rumour is that Le Pro 3 is supposed to release after six months. As the anticipation builds, never seen before images of the device has leaked online way ahead of its launch.
GSM Arena reported, that a Chinese actor recently got his hands on one of the LeEco Le Pro 3 smartphones and decided to share images on Weibo, the Chinese social media platform. Although leaked images aren’t entirely believable, this is a different case. The official LeEco account on Weibo has reblogged the actor’s post which confirms that the images are in fact authentic.
Speaking of the images, there are two pictures of the upcoming handset. One has the handset lying face down showing its rear. In the second image the actor is seen holding the device. AndroidHeadlines reports, LeEco is said to have later confirmed the validity of these images in question by reblogging the images on its official account and also points to a September 21st launch event.
A couple of days back we reported that LeEco Le Pro 3 will come in 6GB and 8GB variants. The first one will sport a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) 2.5D display. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 821 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 530GPU and is expected to offer 64GB of inbuilt storage. There is a 16-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera, and a 4070mAh battery involved. While the larger variant sports a 5.7-inch (1470×2560 pixels) QHD display, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of native storage along with a 5000mAh battery. This is the premium variant that has a 13-megapixel dual camera setup at the rear, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera in the front.
The cost of the device is going to be somewhere between $314.16 (Rs. 21,100) and $448.86 (Rs. 30,100) for the 6GB RAM variant. While 8GB RAM variant will be in the range of $463.83 (Rs. 31,100) and $598.53 (Rs. 40,200).
