Samsung Galaxy A7(2017) to Sport 16 MP Front Camera

The first Galaxy A-series smartphone with a metal body was launched back in 2015 and the line got a pretty good feedback from consumers in the market. Again in 2016, the existing models were refreshed with added features in the form of a fingerprint sensor on the home button, glass back design and optical image stabilisation for the rear camera. There is already information that Samsung has already started working on the new line of smartphones. The Galaxy A5 (2017) was recently spotted on benchmarking website, and now the Galaxy A7 (2017) has also surfaced on GFX Bench. Some of the key specifications of the smartphone were listed on the benchmark  with the front-facing 16MP Camera being the highlight among others.

Samsung Galaxy A7 Device Specifications

Hardware and Software Specifications

The Galaxy A7 features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED full HD (1080p) display,  a 1.8GHz octa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. The device will be powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 7870 chipset with Mali T830 graphics which is the same processor that also powers one variant of the Galaxy J7 (2016). Given that Samsung will probably launch the refreshed A series models very late this year to early next, it’s reasonable to hope that Android 7.0 Nougat could be on board.

Camera Specifications

The Galaxy A7 (2017) packs 16MP cameras on front and rear of the device but are limited to just Full HD video recording although further details regarding the camera specifications are not clear as of now.

The features of the upcoming 2017 smartphone are still sketching but we are confident that Samsung will shed light on the features soon so that we can provide a full list regarding the device.
