Chinese Smartphone manufacturers Meizu have launched a variant of their flagship device, the M3 Note , the m3s smartphone in India earlier today. First made official in China in the month of June, the M3s is now available for purchase in the subcontinent.
The smartphone will be sold exclusively through Snapdeal and will be made available in two RAM/ inbuilt storage bundles. The 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage is priced at Rs. 7,299 and the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant will be made available for Rs. 9,299. The Meizu m3s will be available in Grey, Silver and Gold colour options.

Hardware and Software Specifications
Meizu m3s features an all-metal unibody design with 2.5D curved glass display. The smartphone features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The full laminated display comes with a pixel density of 296ppi and contrast ratio of 1000:1. The dual-SIM handset runs on a (four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5GHz, and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1GHz) MediaTek octa-core processor with Mali T860 GPU. Apart from the inbuilt storage variants, there is also a microSD slot (second SIM slot) for storage expansion via card (up to 128GB).
The device is 8.3mm thick, weighs around 138 grams and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Meizu m3s sports a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, f/2.2 aperture and 5 element lens. It comes with Burst mode, Panorama mode etc. It also houses a 5MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calling purposes.
Battery and Connectivity
The Meizu m3s is powered by a 3020mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS / GLONASS support. The smartphone also sports a digital compass, gravity sensor, and ambient light sensor on board.
Meizu m3s’ home button also doubles up as fingerprint sensor powered by company’s mTouch 2.1 feature. Meizu is promising a response speed of 0.2 seconds with up to 5 fingerprints. The mTouch 2.1 capacitive touch sensor also offers 360-degree recognition.
