The Chinese smartphone making brand Gionee is all set to launch their much-talked smartphones S9 and S9T in China on Tuesday. Earlier both the smartphones had been spotted on the Chinese certification website TENAA and last week the manufacturing company announced that they are going to unveil the handset on 15th November. Both the smartphones created enough buzz and excitement among the fans due to the presence of the dual camera setup on the rear side of the handsets.
Gionee S9 & S9T Features (Probable)
As both the Gionee S9 and S9T are the most anticipated smartphones of the year, most of the features of these devices have already been leaked on the internet. And as we have said above, the camera panel of both the smartphone have been the major talking point among the tech gurus and enthusiasts. As per the leaked images, the Gionee S9 is expected to come with a vertical camera panel right in the middle of the rear side of the handset. Both Gionee S9 and the S9T is rumoured to flaunt a 13-megapixel shooter and a 5-megapixel snapper at the back. At the front side, the smartphone are likely to flaunt a 13-megapixel camera for video calling and taking selfies.
According to the TENAA listing, the metal unibody designed Gionee S9 is rumoured to come with a 5.5-inch full-HD display with the 1080×1920 pixel resolution and a 2.5D curved glass on top. The device is expected to be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card slot. Moreover, the Gionee S9 is likely to feature a 3000mAh battery and all the modern day connectivity options like GPS, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB will be included in the smartphone.Both the smartphones are likely to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with Gionee’s Amigo UI running on top.
On the other hand, the Gionee S9T is tipped to feature almost identical specifications to the S9 but a faster processor clocked at 2GHz. Moreover, this handset is expected to weigh a bit more at 200.8 grammes compared with S9, which is rumoured to weigh 166.5 grammes. If we talk about the dimension of both the smartphones, they are likely to measure 154.2×76.4×7.4mm. Both Gionee S9 and S9T are expected to be available in gold, silver and black colours.
