Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 is the Company’s comeback attempt in the premium smartphone market.

According to Windows Central, Corporate VP Panos Panay together with his team is currently working on the Surface Phones which is reported to have undergone a “paradigm shift” to be able to deliver a “revolutionary Windows-based” smartphone. Reports claim that the company expects these new state-of-the-art smartphones to cast a shadow over a world of Android and iOS smartphones.

Although there has not been any detailed specification list obtained the Surface phone from Microsoft is slated to be the company’s first device to tout a massive 8GB RAM Specification along with another, quite generous, on board storage capacity of 512GB.

#Karl Zeiss Dual Lens Setup? : Another significant specifications of this new device from Microsoft is that the premium variant of the Surface Phone 2017 will sport  20MP Carl Zeiss rear camera lenses. Today’s best camera smartphone in terms of specification is definitely Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus which sports an excellent dual lens rear camera system. And it seems, Microsoft’s upcoming will overshadow even this setup by Apple, if the Surface Phones actually do come out with a Karl Zeiss dual-lens optic system. Enough to take a significant piece of people by storm. The other smaller sized variants are due to feature a 20Mp Carl Zeiss Single lens camera system.

#The new rumoured contender to today’s premium smartphones: The Surface Phone is also said to feature a physical design similar to iPhone 8 having bezel-free and curved-edge screen display. On the other hand, the phone is also presumed to include support for Surface Pen akin to Samsung Stylus support in Galaxy series phones. And quite like the main flagships of today, the device is slated to come in three different sized variants which will most certainly feature in storage as well, for different consumer section.

#Microsoft Surface Phone 2017 Release Date: There has been no confirmed news obtained as to when Microsoft plans to launch the Surface Phones but rumours do point at sometime in February 2017 during the Mobile World Congress.
