It has been quite a while that news and updates have come up from the world of technology regarding an upcoming graphics card from the house of AMD. And the latest news has revealed that AMD is going to launch AMD Radeon RX 500 instead of AMD Radeon RX 490 in the coming days.
Rumours have surfaced since the arrival of the AMD Radeon RX 480 that AMD will launch a new graphics card in the series which is going to have upgraded features. But if we go by the latest news that has come up recently, we might not see yet another graphics card from the series. In place of that, a new graphics series will be launched and it will perhaps be renamed as the AMD Radeon RX500 as the report from The Bit Bag suggests.
Is has been reported that the AMD Radeon RX500 graphics card is going to be equipped with the Vega 10 architecture which has been under development for quite some time now. And rumours are there that the Vega 10 technology is going to be brought into light in the month of January in 2017. It is believed that the AMD Radeon RX 500 is going to feature the Vega 10 technology which when put to use can perform better than many of its competitors.
In the latest demo that AMD has put up in the New Horizon Event held in Arizona, the Vega 10 hardware technology which will be one of the probable features of the supposed AMD Radeon RX 500 graphics card has managed to put up a performance which is definitely going to give its prime competitor a run for their money. It is found that the said technology had at least 10 percent better performance than the NVIDIA GTX 1080 which is one of the most popular in the market when it comes to high-end GPUs.
Speculations are high that the AMD Radeon RX 500 is going to be unveiled during the Consumer Electronics Show which is going to be held in the earlier part of the year 2017. And it remains to be seen whether the AMD Radeon RX500 turns out to be a successful launch or not from the house of AMD. As of now, it seems that it is going to be one of the most sought-after ones, once it is out up for sale in the coming days.
