Lava X41 Plus With Android Marshmallow Launched For Rs.8,999

Indian mobile handset company Lava International has made a significant impact in the market owing to their array of feature-centric smartphones offered at incredibly affordable prices. After a good haul in 2016, the company is has launched their first consumer smartphone this year earlier today, called the Lava X41 Plus. Available in Black and Gold coloured variants priced at Rs 8,999, the smartphone comes with 4G support and runs on Android Marshmallow.  X41 Plus smartphone is now listed on company’s site and may soon be available for buy from both retail outlets and online e-commerce platforms.

Indian Handset manufacturers Lava has launched their latest device with Android Marshmallow, the Lava X41 Plus.

Lava claims that the X41 Plus supports LTE Cat. 4 with download speeds of up to 150Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps. The smartphone also supports VoLTE (voice over LTE) with HD voice call compatibility, a highlight of the handset.

Display

The Lava X41 Plus features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 for protection and a pixel density of 294ppi.

Hardware and Software

The Lava X41 Plus is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory which will be expandable via Micro-SD cards (up to 32GB). The company claims that the device could store up to 65,000 images using the onboard memory adding to the user’s storage convenience.  The device will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Camera and Battery

The smartphone features an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, and also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for selfies and video calling purposes. The device will reportedly be powered by a 2,500mAh battery and connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth, FM radio, Micro-USB, and GPS. The device supports 4G LTE bands in India – FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz), Band 5, and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz).
