The 2017 editions of the Samsung Galaxy A3, the Galaxy A5 and the Galaxy A7 have been launched in Russia, making it the first country to have all the three flagship phones in stores and on sale. While the entire world is awaiting the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S8, this trio of waterproof phones will help gauge the public mood and will serve as a stopgap launch to help maintain the anticipation regarding the S8. Although the three new phones are yet to make its way to other countries, the prices have thus been released.
The Samsung Galaxy A3 2017 comes for RUB 22,990, which translates to $387 or around Rs.26,400. The Galaxy A5 is priced at RUB 27,990 or $471 which is roughly Rs. 32,200. The last of the A series, the Galaxy A7 is available for RUB 32,990, a shade over $555 or roughly Rs. 37,900. A 5.7-inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 386 ppi pixel make this a very competent offering. An octa-core 1.9 GHz processor and the Exynos 7880 chipset power this phone. The Galaxy A7 carries the Mali-T830MP2 GPU. The new smartphone is powered by a mammoth 3600 mAh battery.
