Chines smartphone manufacturers Xiaomi have been one of the most successful newcomers in the smartphone industry owing to their premium Mi line of smartphones and it seems that the company shows no sign of slowing down as they are planning to roll out yet another device in the beginning days of the new year itself. The company, who have made quite a name for themselves manufacturing high-end devices at comparatively affordable prices are all set to launch their new smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix into the market according to certain sources.
Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix Smartphone Specifications
Display and Design
The Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix is said to feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with 2k screen resolution and is protected with a 2.5D curved edge-to-edge glass panel. The device from the Chinese company is expected to sport a 100 percent screen-to-body ratio along with an ultra slim ceramic body construction. The Mi 6 Mix is slated to feature a fingerprint sensor on its touch panel as well as one in the rear panel of the camera
Hardware and Software
The Xiaomi Mi 6 Miz is expected to house Qualcomm’s recently announced 10nm snapdragon 835 chipset which is due to be rolled out by the chipset manufacturers at the forthcoming CES. Pegged to be at least 20 percent faster than its immediate predecessor, the Snapdragon 821, the new processor will definitely speed things up a notch in the device as well as account for efficient battery preserving capabilities of the smartphone. Coming to the memory specifications of the device, the Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix will feature 6Gb of RAM and will be available in two storage options -of 128Gb and 256GB. There has been no word from the company yet whether the device will feature expandable storage or not.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix will reportedly run on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
Camera Specifications
The Mi 6 Mix from Xiaomi is expected to feature a 16MP Rear Camera with laser auto-focus, dual LED flash, and a built-in Optical Image Stabilizer. The company touts that the Mi 6 Mix’s camera is one of the best in the business especially when it comes to low-light photography. The smartphone also features a rear 8 MP retractable front camera located on top for video calling and selfie taking purposes.
Battery and Connectivity
The Mi 6 Mix is slated to feature a 4000 mAh battery which will support Qualcomm’s latest Quickcharge 4.0 technology. Also, the device will come with wireless fast charging with the company stating that the device will be able to charge from zero percent to 60 percent within 30 minutes. The device is pre-equipped with USB Type-C port which has led us to the conclusion that the device will not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.
There is no word regarding the price and availability of the Xiaomi Mi 6 Mix although many reports do state that Xiaomi may launch its device in their event in February.
