Xiaomi Mi 6 vs iPhone 8: Processor and Memory
The Xiaomi Mi 6 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 2.5 GHz Octa-core processor. The Apple iPhone 8 will be powered by the indigenous A11 processor. It is difficult to predict which is the best processor at this moment because data is insufficient. We do know that A11 Fusion chip is said to be 40 percent smaller, 30-40 percent faster, and features 40 percent less power consumption when viewed against the preceding A10 Fusion chip The Xiaomi Mi 6 will have an internal memory of 128GB and 256GB in two variants of which the first variant will have an expandable memory option coupled with 6 GB of RAM. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is reported to feature a 5.2-inch screen with a superb 4K display with a resolution of 4096 x 2160 resolution.The Xiaomi Mi 6 is said to have a PPI of 700. As for the iPhone 8, it is reported to feature an edge-to-edge OLED display, no physical home button, an all-glass design and a bezel-less display.We expect a 5 to 5.5-inch display on the iPhone 8 with Corning glass and Retina Display and a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The new phone will also be thinner than previous iPhones. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is said to feature an ultra-slim ceramic body design with a perfect edge-to-edge AMOLED screen display with a screen-to-body ratio of 100 percent. Other features that Apple will hope to include are Bridge VR headset. We expect the iPhone 8 to edge out the Xiaomi Mi 6 when it comes to features.

While the Apple iPhone 8 wins in nearly every scenario we imagined, it will be very expensive, coming for as much as $900, to say the least. It will launch in the last quarter of this year if it manages to successfully bypass the hurdles it has faced over the last year due to supply chain bottlenecks. The Mi 6 is expected to be announced in February this year and will be priced much lower. We will wait and watch if the iPhone 8 is able to overcome the nemesis of arch-rival Samsung and stick to its guns as well as a lower price tag. Things will get heated up if that happens. On a side note, we expect a battle of the digital AI assistants: Bixby and Kestra on the Mi 6 and Siri on the iPhone 8.
