Huawei has sent out a mysterious invite for an event on April 5th. We don’t know what will be launching on the day but to be sure there were several rumors over the previous weeks that Huawei is planning to launch the Honor V9 in the European market and this might just be it.
The Honor V9 rolled out in February 2017 in China, and the European launch had been due. The event will be live-streaming the event of the presumably launch on 10:30 AM GMT, reports Android Headlines.
There are reports that Huawei is planning to launch the Honor Magic or the Honor 8. The device had rolled out in the Chinese market in December 2017, while the latter is due for a launch. It could very well happen that the launch event is for these devices and not the Honor V9. Of course, these are just speculation and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
As for what the Honor V9 has to offer, the handset will be sporting a 5.70-inch touchscreen display with a PPI of 515 pixels per inch and a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels. The handset runs Android 7.0 and is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Kirin 960 processor. The device also features a 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage that can very well be expanded using a MicroSD card to 128GB. Honor V9 offers 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and an 8-megapixel front camera. The dual SIM device is powered by a 4000mAh nonremovable battery. While the phone offers connectivity options like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G and 4G, the sensors of the handset include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
Although, its true that Huawei could be rolling out Honor Magic or the Honor 8 but it’s likely that Huawei Honor V9 is being hinted for the April 5th release.
