2017 has already made its mark as most remarkable in terms of device launches. Many of the year’s most anticipated devices have already made their appearance, while the most talked about high-end ones are still in the pipeline. However, the past months have also seen the introduction of some impressive mid to low-ranged options that had the budget buyer as their target. The latest launch from Indian smartphone manufacturers Intex is another such device which is aimed at entry level buyers.
The Intex Aqua 4G Mini has now been launched in the country, and while there is currently no information about the new smartphone’s availability, what makes it a standout device is its attractive price tag. The Intex Aqua 4G Mini is packed with a bunch of basic features and specifications that will let buyers make the most of this offering at the meager price of INR 4,199.
Coming to the specifications, the Intex Aqua 4G Mini sports a 4-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels up front. The device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with a Mali 400MP2 GPU. These come coupled with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, and the latter is expandable up to 32GB with the aid of a microSD card.
In terms of the camera, the Intex Aqua 4G Mini features a modest 5MP camera with an LED flash at the back, while the front side of the device is equipped with a 0.3MP VGA unit for selfies. The dual-SIM budget smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and is backed by a 1,450mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5mm jack, and USB 2.0 among others.
The Intex Aqua 4G Mini comes in two color options- Red and Black. Its dimensions are 124.8 x 64.4 x 11.0 mm, while the device weighs 119 grams. The Intex Aqua 4G Mini has had a quiet launch on the Intex website. However, the company has not revealed anything about when or on what kind of platforms it will be commercially available.
