While Micromax kept in quiet last year if rumors are to be believed the company has exciting plans for this year. News has surfaced the company is launching a new mid-range handset called the Micromax Evok Note. The features the handset offer are decent and by the looks of it the phone could be a worthy buy, if you are looking forward to a mid-range phone. The device will be exclusively available on Flipkart.
As far as rumor goes, the handset features a 5.5-inch display. it is likely to feature a metal unibody design and packs a fingerprint scanner making it an extremely attractive handset. It’ll run on Android Marshmallow and is likely to offer Micromax’s Secure Vault. The vault will help make the phone as secure as it can get and protect your personal information from prying eyes, as per India Today. And that is all we know about this mysterious phone.
As for the price of the handset as well as the launch date, we don’t have any idea. Guess, we’ll have to wait for Micromax to make an announcement.
Earlier today Micromax had launched the Dual 5 which packs the first vertical dual camera. The phone is offered at a cost of Rs 24,999 in India and will apparently is comes in only Gold color option. It offers a 5.50-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels. Powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, the handset packs a 4GB RAM along with a 128GB of internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB using a micorSD card.
Dual 5 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that runs Android 6.0 and is backed by a 3200mAh battery that unfortunately is non-removable. Connectivity options that the phone offers include Bluetooth, Infrared, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB OTG, 3G and 4G a well as sensors like Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, Gyroscope, and Proximity sensor.
