The upcoming smartphone by Alcatel, Idol 5 has now acquired a WiFi certification which means that the launch of the device could take place shortly but nothing has bee officially declared at the moment.
Reports say that the Alcatel Idol 5 is compatible with Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac connectivity and will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat. When the device appeared on the benchmarking website called, GFXBench in the month of April, it was highlighted that the Alcatel Idol 5 would be powered by the 2GHz Snapdragon octa-core processor while it would clock a GPU speed of Adreno 506. The smartphone could come up with an internal memory of 32GB while the RAM of it might be of 3GB.
Coming to the display of the Alcatel Idol 5, the device may end up bearing a 5.2-inches display screen which may feature a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080.
The Alcatel Idol 5 is envisioned to sport 12MP rear camera and reports also say that the smartphone might feature a 4K video recording facility. And if this feature is actually equipped with the upcoming smartphone developed by Alcatel then the users would definitely end up appreciating the device.
However, the front-camera of the Alcatel Idol 5 is predicted to feature an 8MP shooter. Coming to the other features of the upcoming device by Alcatel, it has been pointed that the smartphone would also feature an accelerometer, proximity sensor, compass, gyroscope, light sensors, and a pedometer.
However, people are also envisioning the release of Alcatel Idol 5S which might get rolled out along with the Alcatel Idol 5. Therefore, the excitement level regarding the release of the smartphones is extremely high.
The price of the Alcatel Idol 5 has not been revealed until now but it is expected that the smartphone will be quite affordable for the buyers who are planning to purchase the device.
