It states that the next generation gaming console from Sony is going to be launched before the end of the year 2018.
2018 seems to sound a bit early. But speculations do suggest that PlayStation 5 or PS5 will come out on the market in the year 2018. Previous reports have suggested that the gaming console is going to be launched in 2019 or even 2020. However, the new update certainly makes the fans of the gaming consoles from Sony much more excited despite the fact that it has been not long that they have launched a new gaming console.
The prediction has been cited by Damian Thong in one of the reports in the Wall Street Journal where the financial reports of Sony have been reported. Damian Thong is an analyst at Macquarie Capital Securities, and previously he had predicted quite a few things correctly. The unveiling of the PS4 Slim, as well as the PS4 Pro, has also been predicted correctly by Mr. Thong. It has been predicted by him that the new gaming console from Sony will be announced during the E3 2017. That’s a long time ahead of the predicted launch of the console, but it will set the stage up for an exciting competition between the gaming consoles from Sony and Microsoft which is also expected to be launch within a very short period of time.
So it remains to be seen whether eventually, Sony comes out with any sort of announcement regarding the Sony PlayStation 5.
