EA has recently rolled out its newest additions to their famed The Sims series, which is currently available only in select regions. There is no news of when the game will be rolled out to other areas, but it appears that won’t happen much later.
The launch trailer of The Sims Mobile shows great potential. You can see that you can do most of the things that you have been doing in the bigger games, along with some added bonuses. The graphics look great too, so we imagine it won’t be a dull affair by a long stretch. For those who are unaware of how the games work, players will be able to create their own Sims and do a bunch of things within the environment. What sets the Sims series apart is the lack of specific goals, but you can expect to be able to unlock certain actions and locations in the course of the game.
The Sims can be fashioned any way that you might like, and you will be able to enrich not only their appearance but also behavioral traits to make them unique. You will be able to make new career choices, indulge in hobbies, meet new people, initiate relationships, and even take things to the next level by starting a family and work towards building your own Sims legacy. Interaction with the world is one of the primary focuses of the game, and The Sims Mobile will let you host parties with other Sims at the home that you have designed and build new connections.
The Sims Legacy system is particularly interesting. Once you have built a family, you will have the power to shape its legacy over the generations. After you Sims retire, there will be family heirlooms and other deeper things to be unlocked. These can be used to build hobbies for future generations as well as influence their career decisions.
The Sims Mobile comes three years after the lukewarm release of The Sims 4- the last main entry in the best-selling life simulation franchise. Since then, creators EA and Maxis have been hard at work to push out several new expansions to add to the content as well as updates to fix the bugs that had plagued the game during its early days. At the moment, we do not know how EA plans to advance the main series.
