Finnish multinational communications and information technology legendary company Nokia has finally unveiled their much-awaited Android smartphones Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 in India. With this, Nokia once again enters the smartphone market in the country and HMD Global has announced that all Nokia phones sold in India will be manufactured domestically. HMD Global is a Finish mobile phone maker which develops and markets phones under the Nokia brand.
Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 will be available offline, whereas Nokia 6 will be sold exclusively via Amazon India, as per NDTV Gadget 360 Degrees. Let us run through the specifications of each of the devices.
Nokia 3
Nokia 3 is a premium-looking budget handset, coming it at a price of Rs. 9,499, and will be available from June 16. Running on Android 7.0 Nougat, it sports a 5-inch HD display. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 SoC. Backed by a 2,650mAh battery, it has an 8-megapixel camera on both the front and back side. It measures 143.4*71.4*8.4mm.
Nokia 5
Nokia 5 features a 5.2-inch HD display and is powered by Snapdragon 430 processor. It has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. It sports a 13megapixel primary camera and an 8megapixel secondary camera. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. It has a seamless aluminum 6000 series body that curves around the edges giving the device a rounded and smooth shape. Its fingerprint scanner is located in the home button. It is backed by a powerful 3,000mAh non-removable battery and measures 149.7*72.5*8.05mm. It has been priced at Rs. 12,899 and will be available for pre-booking from July 7 via offline channels.
Nokia 6
Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch full HD 2.5D screen clubbed with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and a fingerprint scanner. Backed by a 3,000mAh battery, it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and is powered by Snapdragon 430 SoC. It has 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded to 128GB via microSD card. It sports a 16megapixel primary camera and an 8megapixel secondary camera, both with f/2.0 aperture. It has a dual stereo speaker and Dolby Atmos audio enhancement along with support for USB 2.0 port. It has been priced at Rs. 14,999, and its registration will begin on July 14, however, when it will go on sale is still unknown.
