LG V30 Spotted on Geekbench With Octa-Core SD 835 Processor, Nougat 7.1.2

LG V30 is reportedly set to sport OLED panels instead of secondary display

LG’s upcoming smartphone, the LG V30, has now been spotted on popular benchmarking site Geekbench. The device was spotted with an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor onboard and was seen running on the latest Android Nougat 7.1.2. We already know that the V30, the flagship of LG’s popular ‘V’ series, will release in late August.

The LG V30, from what we saw on the benchmarking website, may probably achieve a score of 1899 on the single core test while the multi core test may yield a solid 6350 points. The V30 is one of the most eagerly anticipated flagship smartphones of the year and will have futuristic design features. The device was spotted with 4GB of RAM and will likely have 64GB of native storage.

While not expressly displayed on Geekbench, the LG V30, as we already know, will be the first LG smartphone to have an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) display panel. It has also ditched the secondary display like we reported earlier. Also, the device will have a splendid 5.7-inch display equipped also with FullVision Display featuring an aspect ratio of 18:9. This aspect ratio is important given that it is most suited for widescreen movies, something which will surely add to the USP of the device. The Snapdragon 835 SoC on board is also one of the most powerful chipsets currently available, as well as one of the most efficient ones.

The new LG V30 will have horizontally arranged dual rear cameras, also making this the first LG device to have two rear cameras. Each of the cameras will apparently sport 13MP sensors. Powering the entire device will be a non-removable 3200mAh battery. One of the best features of the LG V30 is the IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. This essentially means that the device can be submerged in 5 feet of water for up to 30 minutes without any damage.
