Coolpad, the gadgets major, has launched the new Coolpad Cool M7 in China. The new device looks eerily similar to the Apple iPhone 7s and has excellent features given the price tag. We had earlier reported on how Coolpad was planning to introduce the new Coolpad Cool Play 6 in India on August 20. With the new Coolpad Cool M7, the gadget portfolio of the group will encompass all sections, including budget smartphones and premium devices.

The new Coolpad device has got very good specs. It boasts of a 5.5-inch Full HD display that has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and comes with a 2.5D curved glass on top for a seamless viewing experience. Powering this handsome phablet is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz.

Also accompanying the SD 625 chipset will be a handy 4GB of RAM which will work in tandem with 64GB of storage onboard. This native storage capacity is, unfortunately, not expandable. As far as the cameras are concerned, there is a good 12MP rear/primary camera that comes with autofocus and a f/1.8 aperture together with LED flash. Out front, there is a 13MP fixed focus front snapper which has a f/2.2 aperture and a 79.8-degree wide angle lens for better and brighter selfies.
