HTC is planning to introduce the all-new HTC U11 Life later this year. We had previously reported on the device when it was known as the HTC Ocean Life. With a changed name and an overhauled list of specs, we expect that the phone will create a lasting mark across global markets. Two of the best features about the new U11 Life is its compact form factor and the Edge Sense feature.
HTC U11 Life Specs and Features
When it comes to the design department, the HTC U11 Life appears to hit all the right buttons. Moreover, a glance at the specs sheet reveals very decent features, which makes it two reasons to buy such a device. The new smartphone is a smaller version of the original HTC U11, which had a bigger 5.5-inch Full HD display compared to the U11 Life’s 5.2-inch Full HD display.
The HTC U11 was a very powerful device, something we had informed you earlier. The ‘Life’ variant isn’t a pushover either. Powering the new smartphone is the quality Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, which is pretty powerful as well as economical. The SoC is paired with a handy 32GB of internal storage. We do not know the RAM capacity of the HTC device but we are confident it will not disappoint. Native storage is expandable to up to 2TB thanks to a microSD card.
Perhaps the one flagship-style feature on the HTC U11 Life will be the Edge Sense feature and we are confident that with the availability of this technology on a comparatively economical device will augur well for the Taiwan-base manufacturer. Edge Sense is HTC’s proprietary technology which lets the users launch different apps and functions by squeezing the edges of the phone. Besides, the U11 Life will also have a 16MP rear camera with Phase Detection Auto Focus or PDAF and a 12MP front snapper. The price tag is unknown at the moment. Watch this space for more.
