Lenovo has been one of the busiest manufacturers of smartphones (and tablets), and it is nowhere a secret. Prior to a week, we have already informed Lenovo K8 Note to unveil in India on August 9 (i.e. tomorrow). But it seems the rumor mill still has a lot to offer. With that, earlier today the K8 Note smartphone was spotted on the popular mobile benchmarking tool, Geekbench.
The listing has done a tremendous job by spilling some beans on speculations, and further foretelling those delightful features that are going to get unveiled with the handset. However, it is a no big secret that Lenovo is currently working on another smartphone, the Lenovo K8 Plus. Surprisingly, the device spotted last week, sported similar features alike to what we have gathered from K8 Note’s Geekbench listing.
As per the operating system, both K8 Note and K8 Plus run the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat at the time of testing. The company also states that the devices’ actual software will be the stock version of Google’s omnipresent mobile operating system. And instead of the Vibe Pure UI, the future Lenovo smartphones will experience the vanilla Android platform. The Geekbench listing suggests that Lenovo K8 Plus be powered by MediaTek’s Helio P25 system-on-chip (SoC), i.e. MT6757CD with 64-bit cores clocked at 1.69 GHz. Geekbench’s single core test of the handset offers to score 861 points, whereas in multi-core testing the device scored 3,761 points. The indicative mid-range smartphone will come with a memory of 2801 MB.
On the contrary, Lenovo K8 Note has been spotted featuring more powerful hardware when compared to the former handset. While in Geekbench’s single core test, the smartphone scored 1659 points, K8 Note received 4844 points from its multi core test. Under the hood, the listing suggests the K8 Note device to be powered by MediaTek Helio X20 1.39 GHz deca-core processor and roll out with 4 GB of RAM.
Lenovo has offered some of the high-end smartphones over the past few years and talking about Lenovo K8 Note and K8 Plus, serious Lenovo fans cannot wait any longer to get their hands on the most hyped devices.
