Micromax Launches Canvas Plex Tablet with 8-Inch Screen and 4G VoLTE Support at Rs. 12,999

After launching the Canvas Infinity last week, the Indian smartphone manufacturing company Micromax has today unveiled a new tablet under the Canvas series, dubbed as the Micromax Canvas Plex. Priced at Rs. 12,999 only, the Canvas Plex offers the users a one-year free premium subscription of Eros Now to appeal particularly those set of buyers who love to watch movies and videos on the tablet.  Supported with the DTS sound technology, the Canvas Plex will go on sale from Saturday 1 and will be available in various retail stores.

Micromax Canvas Flex Features

talking about the specifications of the Micromax Canvas Flex, the tablet flaunts an 8-inch WSVGA IPS display with the screen resolution of 1024×600 pixels and according to the company, it will enhance the binge watching experiences of the users. Under the hood, the Canvas Flex is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8382W/M chipset clubbed with 3GB of RAM. Moreover, the tablet offers cellular connectivity through a single SIM card slot and supports 4G VoLTE connectivity.

On the optics front, the Canvas Flex features a 5-megapixel rear snapper accompanied by an LED flash and on the front side, a 2-megapixel shooter is placed for taking selfies and making video calls. Not only that, the tablet comes packed with 32 GB of internal storage out of the box to download and save movies and videos. Micromax Canvas Flex is backed by a 3000mAh battery which according to company claim is capable of delivering 9 hours of talking time and almost 169 hours standby time. While the connectivity issues are concerned, the brand new tablet sports GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0 and USB OTG.
