The wait is now over. Apple has unveiled its all-new phones: the iPhone X, the iPhone 8, and the iPhone 8 Plus. The devices are now powered by the new A11 Bionic chip. These new phones will start retailing from September 29 and will be available in color options of Gold, Grey, and Gold. The iPhone 8 will have a retail price tag of $699 and the iPhone 8 Plus will come for $799. These two devices will Rs 64,900.
The new phones have a glass back which Apple says is made of a seven-layer color process which is meant for better opacity. This device is made out of an aerospace-grade aluminum bezel while being microscopically sealed to allow better dust and water resistance. We had previously stated that there would be three models.
Both the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus have Retina HD display along with True Tone feature which will make sure that the white balance is maintained to have a paper-like vivid display. The iPhone 8 has a 4.7-inch screen and the iPhone 8 Plus boasts of a 5.5-inch display. Also, both these devices boast of a stereo speaker setup: Apple has claimed that these new speakers are up to 25 percent louder than before; they are also better at making speakerphone calls.
Both the Apple iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus will come to India with two storage variants: 64GB and 256GB. Unlike what we had stated before, there is no 512GB variant.
Once the new devices launch in India, these will be some of the most premium smartphones to have ever been launched. Along with these features, the new iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus are also adept at Augmented Reality features. This makes the devices ready for the future.
