Huawei Mate 10 Lite And Maimang 6 Are The Same Device

The Huawei Mate 10 Lite and the Huawei Maimang 6 are one and the same device. We have previously covered the Huawei Maimang 6 in great detail previously. The release date of the devices are pretty close, October 16 to be precise, and now we have got new information which suggests that these two are the same device. We have also reported that the Huawei Mate 10 will have three variants.

The report comes from noted tipster Evan Blass, who states that the Mate 10 devices have codenames. Out of these devices, a new name, one which is also familiar, has cropped up – Rhone. Now, Rhone is also the name of the Maimang 6 also known as the Huawei G10. Given that this is also the codename of the Huawei Mate 10 Lite, this means that the Huawei Mate 10 Lite and the Maimang 6 are the same device.

As far as the new Huawei Mate 10 Lite (or Rhone) is concerned, it will have a 5.9-inch screen that has an aspect ratio of 18:9. It also has a superior 83% screen-to-body ratio, which means that the users will have a better wide-screen view of movies. Onboard is an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2160; this high resolution is greater than the regular Mate 10 (or Alps, as the nicknames list suggests.)

The Mate 10 Lite has, under the hood, the HiSilicon Kirin 659, which is an octa-core processor clocked in at 2.36GHz. Also accompanying the Kirin 659 SoC will be 4GB of RAM while the onboard or native storage capacity is  64GB. Thanks to the 3340mAh,

The Huawei Mate 10 Lite has a very good 16MP plus 2MP combo dual camera setup on the back besides a 13MP and 2MP combined on the front. Both the camera setups have LED flashes, which means that both the rear and the front camera setups will be capable of taking great pictures. The selfie cameras will have a two-person bokeh effect which will mean better photographic capabilities.
