Lenovo has finally decided to put its Lenovo K8 Plus on sale starting from today, 21 September, via Flipkart. When it was earlier announced for launch on the website, it had on board 3GB of RAM and 32 GB of native storage. Now, a newer and more powerful variant has been released and it will start sales from today. The new phone has 4GB of RAM as well as 64GB of native storage.
Recall that we had earlier reported that the Lenovo K8 Plus and the Lenovo K8 were supposed to come to India in the month of September. Now, the product listing page, as seen on Flipkart, the product page listing on Flipkart, it clearly says that the Lenovo K8 Plus with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of default memory capacity will launch on September 21. We believe that the device will come for Rs. 11,999 while available color will be Venom Black and Fine Gold. This being the festive season, Flipkart will add a few special offers in case you decide to buy the all-new Lenovo K8 Plus. Besides, the product page also says that the device will be available in limited quantities.
Also, the 3G variant of the device will come for a special discounted price.
As far as the Lenovo K8 Plus features are concerned, it has a 5.2-inch FHD 1080p IPS display protected by Gorilla Glass protection. A pretty powerful 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor, which has been clocked at 2.4GHz, will power the said device. Similar to the Lenovo K8 Note, this new device will run on Stock Android with modifications as well. On board is a dual rear camera setup which has a 13MP primary camera sensor complementing a 5MP depth sensor. The front snapper has an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture, as well as other modes like a Pro Mode and a Beautify Mode. We also appreciate the 4,000mAh battery.
