Lenovo has launched 4 new members in its Tab 4 series and the devices, while sporting excellent specs and features, promise not to burn a hole in your pockets. The Tab 4 series was launched early this year at the Mobile World Congress. These new tablets have been devised primarily as family entertainment devices and will have varying degrees of features and specs. Lenovo is known for beautifully designed tablets.
The prices of the devices vary between Rs 12,990 for the Tab 4 8 and up to Rs 24,990 for the Tab 4 10 Plus, which is the most outstanding device in the series.
Let us talk about the new Tab 4 8 which comes for Rs 12,990. It has an 8-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 64-bit processor which will work in tandem with 2GB of RAM besides 16GB of onboard storage, the latter expandable to up to 128GB. The OS is Android Nougat 7.0 and the device has a 5MP rear/primary camera complementing a 2MP front camera. A 4850mAh battery keeps the lights on
The Tab 4 8 Plus comes for Rs 16,990and has more punch than the standard model. It has an octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 625 SoC which has been clocked at 2GHz plus 4GB RAM besides 64GB of onboard/native storage, expandable to up to 128GB storage. It has an 8-inch display plus Full HD resolution besides an 8MP rear cam with auto-focus and a 5MP front snapper.
Lastly, we have the Tab 4 10 and the Tab 4 10 Plus. These are bigger than the Tab 4 8 series and the Tab 4 10 has a bigger 10-inch display as well as a bigger 7000mAh battery. It comes for Rs 24,990. The Tab 4 10 Plus is the most premium device in the range and is packed with features. Also armed with a 10-inch Full HD display plus a bigger 7000mAh battery, it boasts of a USB Type-C port enabling faster data transfer speeds. The Tab 4 10 Plus will set you back by Rs 29,990.
