After the release of the hotly-awaited LG V30 flagship smartphone, the Korean tech giant has not given a full stop. And it is no big surprise if we happen to come across another news offering major key specs of LG’s brand new tablet, dubbed as the LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus, which the LG devs have quietly announced.
LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus Features and Key Specs
Being an entry-level device, LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus comes with a new Plus Pack, a box that is attached to the rear panel through some magnetic pogo pins. Also, one may note that the box comes with stereo speakers as well as a USB port. There’s also an inclusion of a detachable stand.
According to the latest reports, LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus flaunts an 8-inch Full HD display alongside a screen resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. The under-the-hood specs reveal that LG’s latest tablet will be shipped with an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1.4GHz. Although the chipset’s name will be revealed in the coming days. LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus runs the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The juice will be provided by a battery of 2,900mAh capacity.
On the optics front, the device will be packed up with a 5 MP camera rear camera. One may also note that the tablet to sport a similar 5 MP camera as the selfie shooter. The rear camera will support 4x digital zoom for a better optics feature. However, we are still ahead of the RAM specs of LG G Pad X2 8.0 Plus. Internally, the tablet will sport 32 GB of native storage which is further expandable up to 2 TB (only via using a microSD card slot).
Other connectivity features also include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ac/b/n/u, Bluetooth 4.2, 4G LTE and more. The entry-level device comes with a price tag of $240 which is approximately Rs. 15,000.
