As the Indian smartphone market is growing in stature with the each passing day, many manufacturers have lined up to launch their handsets in the upcoming festive season. And the latest addition to that list is the American tech giant InFocus. InFocus launched the Turbo 5 back in June with a price tag of Rs. 6,999 and now they are all set to launch the successor of the Turbo 5, the Turbo 5 Plus in India. The American tech conglomerate has already started teasing about the launch of the much-anticipated smartphone on various social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook. Moreover, InFocus has also started sending the invitation for the Turbo 5 Plus launch event which is going to take place on 13th September.
According to the teaser launched by the company on Twitter, the InFocus Turbo 5 Plus is going to be a powerful smartphone, as far the features and battery are concerned. But the American company has not spilled the bean about the exact specifications of the upcoming handset.
As the InFocus Turbo 5 Plus is going to be the successor of the original Turbo 5, we can expect the former one will come with the better features than its predecessor. The Turbo 5 flaunts a 5.2-inch HD 720p IPS display with 282 ppi pixel density and boasts an unibody metal design. Under the hood, the handset houses a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset clubbed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage. The users can further expand the internal storage capacity up to 32GB using a microSD card.
On the optics front, the InFocus Turbo 5 sports a 13-megapixel snapper with LED flash and autofocus at the rear end and a 5-megapixel shooter is placed on the front to take better selfies and make video calls. The Turbo 5 comes with all the modern day connectivity features and supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, OTG, Bluetooth 4.0 and dual SIM. Backed by a mammoth 5000mAh battery, the Turbo 5 comes with a fingerprint sensor as the biometric authentication feature.
We hope the successor, Turbo 5 Plus will surpass most of the features, if not all, when it will be launched on 13th September.
