Panasonic Launches Two-in-One Detachable Fully Rugged Toughbook CF-33 laptop in India

The Japanese tech conglomerate Panasonic has launched a rugged detachable laptop dubbed as Toughbook CF-33 in India with a whopping price tag of Rs. 2.7. The company first unveiled the laptop at the MWC 2017 and now it is available to purchase.

As per the company’s claim, the Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 is the world’s first laptop which sports a 12-inch QHD display with a 1440×2160 pixels resolution and an aspect ratio of 3:2 as well as a two-in-1 detachable laptop.

Panasonic Toughbook CF33 Specs

The Business Head of Toughbook and Toughpad division, Gunjan Sachdev said in a statement at the launch event, “Panasonic Toughpads enjoy 65 percent market share in India and with the introduction of new products in ‘Toughbook’ and ‘Toughpad’ series, we aim to increase our market share to over 70 percent.”

The Toughbook CF-33 is powered by a 2.6GHz Intel Core i5-7300U vPro chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. Moreover, this laptop runs on 64-bit Windows 10 Pro. On the optics front, the Toughbook CF-33 sports an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel webcam supported by stereo microphones. As for the connectivity options are concerned, this fully rugged laptop comes with LAN, HDMI, headset ports, USB 3.0 and microSDXC card slot. Additionally, this two-in-1 detachable laptop also offers a serial and barcode reader, fingerprint reader, contactless smart card reader, a second USB 2.0 port, and a smart card reader.

The Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 features IP65-rating, that means it is water and dust resistant and the keyboard dock includes LAN ports, USB 2.0 ports, 2 X USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port, SD-XC port, VGA port and a serial port. The Toughbook weighs 2.76kg with the detachable keyboard and only the tablet weighs 1.53kgs. On top of that, the IP55 digitizer pen provides the user the utmost accuracy while working, writing or giving signatures. Moreover, you can flip around the tablet screen, can detach or re-attach and works in every position.
