The Taiwanese smartphone giant HTC is going to unveil a series of new Android smartphones in the US on 2nd November including handsets like HTC U11, HTC U11+, and HTC U11 Life. But the company got a big blow as the specs of the U11 Life has been leaked on the internet prior to a couple of days to the official launch. T-Mobile, the official seller of all the HTC devices in the US, unintentionally recorded all the key specs of the upcoming HTC U11 Life handset.
According to the T-Mobile listing, the HTC U11 Life is going to sport a 5.2-inches Full HD screen with a pixel resolution of 1080p. Moreover, the upcoming smartphone is going to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 630 chipset, coupled with a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The handset will run on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS with the company’s very own Edge Sense OS running top of it.
On the optics front, the soon to be launched HTC U11 Life is going to flaunt a 16-megapixel rear camera as well as a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The handset is expected to back by a 2600mAh battery which is rated to provide 13-17 hours of talk time or up to 672 hours in standby time. The smartphone comes with the IP 67 certification and includes connectivity options like LTE, VoLTE, USB Type-C, and NFC.
Although the price of the upcoming HTC U11 Life was not mentioned in the listing. But if we believe the rumors, the HTC U11 Life is going to be priced at $400. As we have mentioned earlier, the smartphone is going to be launched on 2nd November along with three other new HTC handsets. The HTC U11 Life is one of the mid-range smartphones among the four and all the upcoming handsets should hit the market shelves before the holiday season begins.
