Nokia 2 Price Tag in The US Revealed

HMD Global, which owns the Nokia brand name and sells its products, may have accidentally revealed the price tag of the Nokia 2 in the United States. More correctly, the price tag has been revealed by a US-based retailer. According to sources, the new Nokia 2 may sell for $99, which will make it the cheapest Nokia smartphone yet. We have covered the Nokia 2 in exhaustive detail, including when some renders leaked showing off the optics features and the design.

According to GizmoChina, whose report you can read here, the retailer which accidentally revealed the price tag is  B&H Photo Video. The page was soon taken down, probably after the error was realized. But not before confirming that the device had the model number of TA-1035 and also boasted dual SIM slots. All sources indicate that the new device from Nokia will be a budget device and will have a very powerful battery, at least for a phone of its segment.

Winfuture.de was also able to obtain some extra details about the new phone. The new Nokia 2 will have black and white color options and is also likely to have a dual SIM slot, which is not something that many phones in the US feature, making it something of a rarity.

FCC sources reveal that the new device may house a large 4,000mAh battery. When spotted on Geekbench, we also came to know that a decent Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor would likely power the device. There is a single rear camera and it has a LED Flash. The camera sensor and the flash both share a single common vertical housing. We can see a slit for a speaker at the bottom right-hand corner. Since it seems that the rear of the device is made of polycarbonate, the Nokia 2 may well be a very sturdy phone.

Lastly, we could make out some pretty thick bezels even though there are on-screen navigational buttons. On the front side of the Nokia 2 are the camera, the sensor, and the earpiece.
