Ahead of launching a number of devices in the distant past, Samsung has silently announced a budget-range smartphone in the Indian markets. Dubbed the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017), the new device is the latest addition to Samsung’s J-series lineup. The new smartphone comes with decent key specs which we have mentioned right below. In the design language, the smartphone features a 4.7-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) Super AMOLED display. Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017) houses 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos processor clubbed with a RAM of 1 GB. The handset offers a native storage of 8 GB which is further expandable up to 128 GB by using a micro SD card slot. On the optics front, Samsung’s next-generation J series device sports a 5 MP autofocus camera at the rear panel. While on the other hand, the smartphone features a 2 MP of selfie shooter. The juice is offered by a removal battery of 2000 mAh capacity. Although the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017) device runs Android operating system, the version is yet not specified. This dual-SIM smartphone reportedly comes with connectivity options such Bluetooth 4.1, 4G, 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Glonass, and 3.5mm audio jack.
Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017) Price and Availability
Weighing about 130 grams, the new Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017) measures 136.5x69x8.4 mm. The device will be made available in two color variants- Absolute Black and Metallic Gold. Unfortunately, Samsung has not revealed the price tag of the device via the Indian website. Mahesh Telecom, the Mumbai-based offline retailer, has mentioned the price tag of the device which is tipped to be available at Rs. 7390. For further reports on this, stay tuned to us.
