After releasing a series of brand new smartphones, Samsung has launched a brand new tablet called as Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2017) in India on Tuesday with a price tag of Rs. 17,990. the Korean tech conglomerate launched the tablet in Vietnam last month and the device is already up for grab on Samsung Online Store and offline retailers in India. Speaking of the specs of the Galaxy Tab A (2017), the device flaunts an 8-inch WXGA TFT display with the pixel resolution of 1280×800 pixels. Apart from that, the features like Blue Light Filter and 480nits brightness also enhance the viewing experience. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 chipset clubbed with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 256 GB through a microSD card. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2017) runs on the Android 7.1 Nougat OS and supports a single Nano-SIM card.
On the optics front, the newly launched tablet features an 8-megapixel sensor with LED flash and a f/1.9 aperture in the rear end and sports 5-megapixel snapper on the front. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A weighs 364 grams and dimension wise measures 212.1×124.1×8.9mm.
