Remember the ZTE Axon M, the unique foldable smartphone, which was unveiled just a few weeks ago? Well, we had covered it extensively at that time. This device has been scheduled to begin pre-orders starting November 1. The USP of the new ZTE device, obviously, is the foldable nature of the smartphone. The device will be sold via telecom major AT&T. It will be available at all AT&T stores starting November 17.
The device was earlier spotted on Geekbench as well.
You can outright buy the new ZTE Axon M for a price of $725 in the U.S.In case you are planning of availing it via installment payments, you can also opt for the AT&T Next scheme, where you must pay $24.17 every month for a total period of 30 months. We believe that this new foldable smartphone will soon come to the other major markets like China, Europe, and Japan by the Q1 2018.
Remember that although this is a foldable smartphone, it does not have a flexible display. Two displays of the same size are attached to each other via a hinge. On offers is a large number of screen mods. You can also use the two displays to run two different apps at the same time. Alternatively, you can use the two display to experience a larger view of the same app running.
In other ZTE Axon M specs and features, the two 5.2-inch screens have support for a full HD resolution of a splendid 1920 x 1080 pixels. It has, however, a single camera with a 20-megapixel sensor which has other tropes like image stabilization, as well as PDAF, and 4K video recording, all of which will add to the novelty value as well.
Running at the heart is the slightly-dated Snapdragon 821 chipset. On the Axon M, this SD 821 chipset will run in conjunction with 4 GB of RAM. There is also an internal storage capacity of 64 GB. Lastly, it is preinstalled with the Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS. The ZTE Axon M has a 3,180mAh battery for ample juice.
