After the promotional campaigns and hype surrounding the new OPPO R11S, the company has finally unfolded its R11s and R11s Plus yesterday. While both the devices are available in Black and Champagne color variants, the latest news suggests, there would be another limited version dubbed the OPPO R11S Special Red Variant with a higher price tag.
Report from GizmoChina tells us the design philosophy of the new OPPO R11S Special Red Variant. The hands-on photos of the device are magnificent and the only word going parallel with the device is: beauty! OPPO apparently has followed the trend of full-screen (18:9) display thus finally replaced the traditional 16:9 displays.
While the front-mounted fingerprint sensor is absent, the device comes occupied with minuscule bezels. As a result, one can view the fingerprint reader on the rear panel below the camera module. Talking of optics module, the OPPO R11S Special Red Variant‘s camera differs from what we have seen with the recently launched R11S (in case one can check this report for more information).
To recall, OPPO R11s flaunts a metal unibody design and sports a 6.01-inch 2160 x 1080 display. Underneath, it is powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC and is clubbed in with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of memory. On the optics front, the camera module is equipped with a 20MP f/1.7 sensor and 16MP f/1.7 sensors. On the front panel, the smartphone giant retained the 20MP sensor. In addition, it comes with an AI Beauty which works similarly like OPPO F5.
On the software, OPPO R11S runs the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system, out of the box. The device embeds the volume rocker on the left corner with the inclusion of a SIM tray as well as the power button. Until now, we are ahead of further news on whether all three variants of the device will have a similar composition inside the packaging box. So, here’s the waiting.
