After big players like Apple and Samsung, LG has also entered the race to capture the tablet market and the Korean tech conglomerate has today launched a brand new entry-level tablet dubbed as G Pad F2 8.0 with basic specs in the United States. The tablet is already up for grab via Sprint with a price tag of $149.99 (almost Rs. 9700).
Speaking of the specifications, the LG G Pad F2 8.0 sports an 8-inch WXGA screen with the pixel resolution of 1,280×800 pixels. Moreover, the device is powered by an octa-core 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage capacity. Moreover, the newly-launched tablet runs on the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.
As for the optics are concerned, the LG G Pad F2 8.0 sports a 5-megapixel primary camera on the rear end. A secondary camera of the same megapixel is also placed on the front side of the device. Although the tablet is backed by a 3000 mAh battery, an extended battery of 4400 mAh is also available to add. So if you opt for both the battery options, the battery capacity of the device notches up to a whopping 7400mAh.
On the connectivity front, the LG G Pad F2 8.0 includes Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Wi-Fi hotspot, 4G LTE, and Bluetooth 4.2 The tablet also comes with a full-size USB port and stereo speakers. The LG G Pad F2 8.0 supports 13 languages and the keyboard features up to 78 languages. Aesthetically, the tablet looks stylish and premium kudos to the slim chassis and the textured finish at the back. As of now, LG is not going to release the G Pad F2 8.0 outside the United States. But later, the Korean company might unveil it globally with different specs, variant, or name.
